What I've Been Working on Lately...

I have been working like a busy little bee this past week to get things ready for my booth at The Depot. I gathered up all of the things that were finished, as well as some new projects that I needed to get done, and piled them on the dining room table...
Can you say hot mess?

Here are some of the things that I recently finished!

I glazed the nightstand that I refinished and told you about in this post. I think that the antiquing glaze gave it a nice look, and really brought out the details of the piece

I also painted this little wooden herb basket.

I LOVE this next project... I was inspired by some Pottery Barn wall art and several table that I have seen floating around in blogland, so I decided to try my hand at it...I love how fun and whimsical it is!

I also painted this chair:

I think this may be my favorite piece that I finished this week...I LOVE the color (I have a bad habit of mixing paint myself, but I like this one!)

And I only distressed it a little bit so you could see the lines of the piece.

More old books wrapped with twine.

A little candlestick got a fresh coat of paint and a darling bird's nest.

I told you, I have been painting like a mad woman! I have it on my hands, my legs, my clothes, and even my dog...he got too close to the can of paint. Sorry, Max!

Hope you like them!

  1. It's probably a good thing I don't live closer to you. I'd go completely broke.

  7. Everything is really cute! I saw those old books @ Restoration Hardware for $29 - crazy expensive for something we can do, right? I mix paint often also. :)

I love your comments like I love a glass of red wine, a slow Van Morrison song, and freshly swiffered floors...which is, like, a lot.
