I have slowly been making changes to the kitchen {see here, here, and here}. For the longest time, I was working with what I had: tans and browns. Here is what my wall looked like before:
I painted the wall {Pebble Cinder Gray by Valspar}, and added two Ikea Lack floating shelves, and displayed some of my milk glass and white dishware {which I seem to have endless supplies of but cannot stop buying}
Here is the wall after:
I recently started an Ironstone collection...I picked up these pitchers {and the pot to the far right} at an estate auction. I got about 7 pieces of Ironstone for $20!
Sources {starting with the top, left to right}
White vase and milk glass- Goodwill.
White ceramic ball- West Elm
Mirror, cloche- yard sale
Ironstone pitchers- estate auction
Shelves- Ikea

So what do you think? Do you like the before or after better?

The after is definitely better. Great job! It is much more interesting without being over powering. Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the after! I love how a monochromatic scheme can have such big impact! Great Job!
ReplyDeleteOh I don't know - I love them both. Why don't I take the leftovers from your previous display off your hands ;)
